What Questions to Ask on a Date

Did you ever hear the expression “you never get a second chance to make a first impression?”

This expression is never truer than on your first date.

This is why it is important that you are prepared with some things to talk about, some good questions to ask, and knowledge about how to create a fun, flirtatious, and sensual encounter.

pixelimg2If you ask the right types of questions the woman will open up to you, feel comfortable around you, and become attracted to you?. Making it much easier to get the kiss.

Before I get into some good first date questions to ask, it is important that you understand some general advice.

Here are the three most important things to remember on a first date:

  1. Skip the small talk (It’s boring and does NOT lead to attraction.
  2. Flirt. Flirt. And Flirt some more.
  3. The date MUST be fun.

A lot of men get hung up on what kind of first date questions to ask, or what to talk about on the date.

But what is most important is not what you say, or what questions you ask on a first date, but instead, it’s the vibe you create.

Boring Questions to AVOID on a First Date

Avoid these common questions. They are boring.

And probably every guy she has ever gone out with has asked her similar types of question.

  • What do you do for a living?
  • What do you do for fun?
  • Where did you grow up?
  • Do you have any pets?
  • What kind of music do you like?

These are the sort of questions you ask someone on a job interview or you ask a potential roommate.

Does this mean you can never find out this information?

No.  But there are better ways to get this information out of her, like using “cold reads.”

Make “First Date” Statements (Not Questions)

I want to let you in a little hint that will powerfully transform the conversations you are having on your first dates (or later dates).

Switch from asking questions to making statements.

Statements reveal bits of your personality and allow you and a woman to flirt rather than just exchange useless information.

Examples of Using Statements instead of Questions:

Instead of asking her “Where did you grow up?”

Tell her “You didn’t grow up around here, did you?  You’ve got a country girl vibe.”

The reason that this works is now instead of only talking to a girl about her hometown, you are also giving her an idea of how you view her.

Now she will most likely ask you why you think this. And this opens up an entirely new conversation topic.

Examples of Best First Date Questions

Ok let’s get into some examples of the type of questions you should be asking when you’re on a date.

First Date Questions #1: Did you have an Imaginary friend when you were young?

First Date Questions #2: Do you remember your first day at school?

This is a question that brings out strong emotions because it is something that they probably haven’t talked about for a long time, but that has strong emotions attached to it.

First Date Questions #3: If you could wake up tomorrow anywhere in the world, where would it be?

This is another good question and replaces boring questions on this subject such as “do you like travel?” and “did you go on holiday this year”. Get her to describe the place vividly until she feels like she is there!

First Date Questions #4: Are your friends mostly men or women?

This tells you something about their character and also gets them talking about people they care about and their friends.

First Date Questions #5: What’s the one thing you can’t say no to?

This is a good way to find out something they really enjoy, it could be chocolate, it could be fresh orange juice. It should make their eyes light up. You can then describe how good it is to eat that chocolate or drink that fresh orange juice and watch how you can lead them into a desiring state.

First Date Questions #6: What talents do you have that would surprise me?

This is a great question, and is a challenge. Early on in an interaction, they won’t feel any need to answer challenging questions. By the rapport stage, they will feel some pressure to respond to a question like this to prove themselves to you. Remember that she is likely to ask the same back to you, so have something ready.

First Date Questions #7: Have you been in love?

Focus on the time when they were actually in love, don’t ask what happened – this would focus on the break-up! You will make her want those feelings again, and since she is with a cool guy, she’ll probably be imagining them with you.

This is a great one, for a number of reasons: First, it brings out the emotion and memories connected with love. Second, it gets onto the subject of relationships and so gets her to easily start to imagine a relationship with you.

First Date Questions #8:  What’s The Top Thing On Your Bucket List?

A bucket list question can shed some much-needed light on your first date. If you’re wondering what kind of person you’re on a date with, this question should tell you.

First Date Questions #9: What Do You Find Sexiest In a Guy?

This question can give you some powerful information about what your date finds attractive in a guy. It’s also a great opportunity for you to move the conversation of trivial topics onto something more sexual.

By getting her to open up a little more about herself, you’ll get her to share a secret with you. This is probably something she won’t tell anybody else.

There’s something awesome about freeing your mind from the everyday. When you think about ridiculous adventures, and share them with your date, it get’s you both into an adventurous state of mind.

She’s probably expecting you to brag about getting backstage access to a Drake concert, not admit that time you and your best friend ended up at a Miley Cyrus concert with a bunch of 12-year-olds when you were 20.
